Every load on Load Work carries a 0-100 score ring. The score is built from three inputs: whether the broker has active FMCSA authority, how complete the posting is, and how fresh the load is. Hover over the ring on any load card to see the exact number and a confidence note.

What the score is and what it is not

The score is a quick signal, not a verdict. A low rating is never the final word. It is a nudge to look closer, not a block. Load Work does not stop you from calling a broker with a low score. The score just tells you which postings have the most verified detail behind them.

Fields that show N/A on a load lower the score. If weight, pickup date, or broker contact is missing, the posting is less complete and the score drops. A missing field does not mean the load is fake. It means the broker did not include it.

How to read the ring at a glance

Color	Band	What to do
Green	Verified	Strong signal. Still call the broker and confirm details yourself.
Blue	Solid	Good load, but broker authority is not yet confirmed active. Worth a quick FMCSA check.
Yellow	Fair	Usable, but missing some detail or starting to age. Call fast.
Red	Caution	No active authority, or very thin info. Verify independently before you commit.
Gray	Unrated	Not enough data yet. Use your own judgment.

How the three inputs work

1. FMCSA authority — A broker with active, verifiable authority scores higher. A red or gray authority badge pulls the score down.
2. Completeness — Loads with weight, dates, rate, and contact info score higher. Missing fields reduce the score.
3. Freshness — A load that was just posted scores higher. A load that has sat for days without being refreshed drops.

Using the score in your workflow

Use the score to decide where to spend your time. Start with Verified and Solid loads when you are in a hurry. When you have time, dig into Fair and even Caution loads, especially if the lane and rate match your truck. Always verify broker authority yourself before you book.

A low rating is not an accusation of fraud. It is a flag that something is missing or unverified. Always do your own due diligence before picking up a load.
