Notification rules watch the load board for you. Instead of refreshing the page all day, you tell Load Work what you are looking for, and it sends an alert the moment a matching load posts. This guide walks you through creating your first rule.
1

Go to the Rules page

Click Rules in the left sidebar, or go directly to /rules. Then click New rule.
2

Name your rule

Give it a clear name you will recognize later. For example: Texas → Southeast corridor or Home daily box truck.
3

Set the FROM corridor

Choose where you want loads to originate. Your options are:
  • States — pick one or more states
  • Within radius — set a city and radius (25, 50, 100, 150, 250, or 500 miles)
  • Anywhere — no origin filter
4

Set the TO corridor

Do the same for destination. You can mix and match: for example, FROM “Within 250 miles of Dallas” TO “Florida, Georgia, Alabama”.
5

Pick equipment

Select one or more equipment types from the 16 chips. If you leave none selected, the rule matches any equipment type.
6

Save the rule

Review the live preview to see what kinds of loads your rule would have caught in the last few days. Then click Create rule.

Where alerts appear

When a matching load posts, your alert lands in two places:
  1. The Notifications page at /notifications
  2. The notification bell in the top bar, which shows recent load alerts with a “See all load alerts” link
Email alerts are sent on every plan. SMS alerts are only available on Pro and Enterprise. Push notifications are coming later and are not available yet.
You can set quiet hours in Settings → Notifications so alerts do not wake you up. Quiet hours apply to every rule you create.
For a full field-by-field breakdown of the rule builder, including rate filters, miles limits, and the “Include loads with no rate” checkbox, see the detailed guide.
